Download and install Wallets
Download and install the officail Chrome browser plugin called MetaMask or the Coinbase Wallet This will allow websites (that you authorize) access to your Ethereum account.
Add the Base Network to Your Wallet
If not already installed, you must add the chain to your wallet. You can add via Chainlist or refer to this official MetaMask wallet guide. The Coinbase Wallet browser extension provides support for Base by default. Skip to Step 3 if already installed.
Fund Wallet with Base Ethereum
OPTION 1: Transfer some Ethereum (instruction video). Both MetaMask and Coinbase wallet plugins have a button that will allow you to buy Ether from Coinbase or transfer from any other wallet. Make sure to request Ethereum via the Base Chain Network ( guide link ). OPTION 2: See step 4 below:
Bridge some Ethereum to Base
Use the native ecosystem bridges on Base or ZKSync (soon) or use our use the Buy $ZABO link to Dexscreener and connect your wallet there to begin your transaction. Make sure to select the Base Network.
